The award-winning motor yacht Inception, formerly known as Man of Steel, is a 50-meter (164’1″) vessel built by Heesen in the Netherlands. Its interior was designed by Omega Architects, a Dutch design firm, and it was completed in 2008. The yacht’s exterior was also designed by Omega Architects.
Inception can accommodate up to 14 guests in 6 luxurious suites, including a VIP cabin. It also has space for a crew of up to 10 to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience for all guests.
The yacht is equipped with a variety of amenities, including a deck jacuzzi, WiFi, and air conditioning. It is powered by twin MTU diesel engines with a total output of 1,549 horsepower, allowing it to reach a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. Its fuel tanks have a capacity of 21,130 gallons, giving it a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots. Inception also has at-anchor stabilizers for added comfort. Its water tanks can hold around 5,280 gallons of fresh water. The yacht was built to meet the standards of the Lloyds Register X 100A1 SSC YACHT [X] LMC Large Commercial Yacht Code classification society.
